About Me

Brooke Bacak is an adjunct professor teaching Public Relations in Political Processes. Before joining the faculty, Bacak worked in Washington, D.C., serving as policy and legal advisor to several Republican members of the U.S. Senate, including Senator Ted Cruz (TX), Senator Jeff Sessions (AL), Senator Jon Kyl (AZ), and Senator Tom Coburn (OK). She also served as an assistant dean at the University of Alabama School of Law, where her responsibilities included fundraising, alumni and donor relations, and the management of communications and event coordination. Bacak has served as a guest contributor for the Alabama Policy Institute (API).

Bacak earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts in public relations with a minor in political science from Auburn University. She lives in Auburn with her husband and three children. With a long-standing love of the Auburn Tigers and United States government and politics, she is passionate about sharing her experiences with Auburn students and mentoring those pursuing related careers.
