Visiting Scholar to Lead Workshop on Service-Learning in Higher Education

Breeden Eminent Visiting Professor David Marlow will lead a workshop titled “Serving Justice: Using Service-Learning to Promote Social Justice” on Tuesday, March 26 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in 310 Tichenor Hall at Auburn University.  

Workshop participants will learn about the practice of service-learning in higher education and discuss various ways in which faculty can achieve course learning outcomes using forms of service-learning.

Dr. David Marlow is Director of Service-Learning and Community Engagement at the University of South Carolina Upstate, and he is currently serving as a Breeden Eminent Visiting Scholar in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University.
