Singer-Songwriter Kate Campbell to Perform at Pebble Hill on October 25

Kate Campbell, a Nashville-based artist and Auburn University alumna, will perform on Thursday, October 25 at 7 p.m. at Pebble Hill as part of the Sundilla Concert Series.

Kate Campbell writes and sings memorable folk songs infused with undercurrents of delta blues, folk pop, and country that originate from a musical landscape spanning the less-travelled back roads from Nashville to Muscle Shoals to Memphis.  Her easy command of a full range of American musical styles has earned Campbell recognition as a formidable talent by critics.  Time Out London proclaimed her a “major talent” while Chicago Daily Herald described her as a “world-class singer songwriter.” Kate’s latest album, “Damn Sure Blue,” released in September 2018.

The concert is sponsored by the Sundilla Concert Series and the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities. Pebble Hill is located at 101 S. Debardeleben Street.

Advance tickets can be purchased for $15 from Spicer’s Music, Blooming Colors, World Cup Coffee, and online at www.sundillamusic.com.  Admission at the door is $20. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.  In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Auburn Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (450 E Thach Ave.).  For more information, call 334-844-4946.
