Cultural Crossroads XVI: Territorial Characters in Becoming Alabama

Landmarks Foundation of Montgomery, the Alabama Department of Archives and History, and the Caroline Marshall Draughan Center for the Arts and Humanities at Auburn University continue their exploration of early Alabama history with Cultural Crossroads XVI: Territorial Characters in Becoming Alabama on February 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Alabama Department of Archives and History.

This annual symposium will introduce a series of lively programs through 2019 that will be centered around the upcoming celebrations of significant Bicentennials involving the creation of the State of Alabama. Join the caravan along with seven fellow travelers, historians all, who serve as guides over the often bumpy paths that finally led to Alabama’s recognition as an entity on the way to statehood.
