Your support enables our students to attend exciting events that build skills and provide professional experiences necessary for life post-graduation.
- Air Race Classic: All-female race consisting of teams competing on VFR routes across the United States. Auburn has sponsored teams to participate since 2017. In 2019, one of our Auburn teams won 1st place in this nationally recognized event. This is a great opportunity for our students to expand their crew resource management skills and build on their aeronautical knowledge.
- Women in Aviation: The School of Aviation and the WAI War Eagle Chapter host "Girls in Aviation" at the Auburn University Regional Airport every year. Girls, boys and families of all ages are welcome to attend this free event with crafts, games and airplane statics to expose members of the community to the field of aviation. Current aviation students are able to share their passion with others and show the wonders of aviation.
- Sun 'n Fun: The largest airshow in the Southeast U.S. Auburn Aviation ambassadors are sent to represent the School of Aviation. It's a wonderful opportunity to network, gain exposure to the aviation industry, and gain experience recruiting and talking to families. The event is filled with tens of thousands of aviation professionals and passionate aviators sharing stories.
Your support of the School of Aviation allows us to focus on providing our students and faculty with first-class learning and teaching opportunities.
