Graduate Students (SLHS or other majors)

- Who are interested in thesis projects
Graduate research assistants are expected to gain research experience related to lab activities to support research dissemination. This may include the following opportunities:
- Development of research studies
- Systematic literature review
- Data collection, transcription, coding, and analysis
- Assist in development of lab research papers and presentations
- Facilitate research study sessions with participants and collect data
- Mentor undergraduate students
- Complete graduate research thesis (optional)
Undergraduate Students (SLHS or other majors)
- Individuals who are interested in volunteering for lab research
- Individuals who are interested in developing their own projects
- Undergraduate research assistants are expected to commit a minimum of 7-10 hours per week for at least 2 semesters.
- At least 2 full semesters of volunteering are required to receive a recommendation letter along with adequate performance regarding lab duties
- Roles and responsibilities include:
- The same roles and responsibilities as graduate students
- Assisting graduate students
- Creating and managing social media and our websites
- Scheduling research participant and corresponding through emails
- Completing an undergraduate research thesis (optional)
