College of Liberal Arts Advising
Once you officially declare psychology as a major, the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) will keep your academic folder and will maintain all official records. You will be assigned an academic advisor within the CLA based on your last name. Click here to be directed to CLA advisor contact page. Be sure to check with the CLA advisors regarding the accuracy of the number of credit hours you may have accumulated toward graduation at least one full semester before you plan on graduating. All freshmen and first semester sophomores must also visit the CLA advising office during the registration period for general consultation regarding their academic progress. Your CLA advisor will answer all questions regarding the university core. Psychology advisors do not provide information or advice regarding general education (the “core”) requirements, requirements for graduation from Auburn University, or perform credit checks regarding the accuracy of the number of credit hours students have accumulated.
