Perception Analyzer: Survey and Continuous Feedback System

Useful for everything from evaluating products to testing the appeal of advertisements, the Perception Analyzer captures individual responses and provides real-time feedback. The system of dials and survey software helps more effectively conduct academic research or better understand and predict behavior. We can immediately begin analyzing data to help drive discussions and fine-tune interactions with the audience.

Morae: Usability Testing Software

Usability is an important component in effectively utilizing online documents, especially websites. Morae is a software that simplifies this process by recording mouse movements, audio commentary, and facial expressions. We improve the user experience by including short surveys and monitoring mouse clicks and keystrokes.

Tricaster: Video and Audio Production Software

Streamline the production process with Tricaster, a portable production system that uses three cameras and four microphones. These devices are set up in the lab’s observation rooms and provide beneficial tools to monitor the audience. The system is designed so one person can control the entirety of the event, including the ability to switch between live cameras, control the angles and zoom of the camera, and even stream the event live on the web.

SortSite: Heuristic and Automated Website Evaluation

In a heuristic evaluation, one or more usability experts will evaluate a website based on industry-standard usability and accessibility guidelines. We often combine expert evaluation with an automated analysis of the site, which is particularly helpful in identifying accessibility errors. Our staff excels at finding basic usability and accessibility problems, and the results can help identify areas that would benefit from bringing in users for hands-on testing. Heuristic analysis is accompanied by a detailed report, which identifies usability and accessibility problems.
