The Department of Music at Auburn proudly provides a modern, rigorous, and comprehensive education for students preparing for careers in the music field. Likewise, we offer exceptional opportunities for musical growth for students from colleges and majors throughout the university who perform in our ensembles and take academic core and elective music classes. In recent years, the department has added new degree programs and minors and launched a cutting-edge, large-format recording studio. These innovations have resulted in nearly 100% growth of student enrollment since 2020, and recognition in Billboard Magazine as a top music business school for multiple years.
