Auburn University Players is one of the oldest organizations on the campus of Auburn University. All individuals with an interest in theatre are welcomed and encouraged to join AU Players, regardless of major. They host events throughout the year, both on Auburn University's campus and in the community. This allows AU Players to demonstrate their main message of appreciation and participation in the arts to everyone.

The Mosaic Theatre Company (MTC) is dedicated to the creation and performance of original works of theatre that investigate current issues of diversity in the hopes of crafting lifelong alliances. MTC members come primarily from the Auburn University student body and are trained in a variety of theatrical devising techniques.

From 2009-2014, AU Theatre's Radio Flyer Theatre sought to evoke the spirit “audio theater” popular from the 1930s into the early 1950s, the Golden Age of Radio, and heard on programs such as Orson Welles’ “Mercury Theatre on the Air” and the “Lux Radio Theater.”
