No Impact Week

Auburn University students, faculty, and staff are invited to conserve and reduce their impact on the environment as they participate in No Impact Week from March 26 - April 2. No Impact Week is an international initiative designed to promote sustainability by challenging people to live lifestyles that are better for them and for the environment.

This week-long challenge is hosted by the College of Liberal Arts' Community and Civic Engagement Initiative and co-sponsored by International Paper. It will include events each day centered on reducing environmental impact in different areas of life.

The themes for each day are:

  • SUNDAY MARCH 25 - Trash 
  • MONDAY MARCH 26 - Food 
  • TUESDAY MARCH 27 - Consumption
  • WEDNESDAY MARCH 28 - Transportation
  • THURSDAY MARCH 29 - Water
  • FRIDAY MARCH 30 - Energy
  • SATURDAY MARCH 31 - Giving Back
  • SUNDAY APRIL 1 - Eco Sabbath
