On Friday and Saturday, October 17-18, 2014, the Auburn University College of Liberal Arts’ Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts and Humanities and Department of English will host the fifth annual Auburn Writers Conference, “The Inspired South.” The conference offers instruction, practice, perspective, and community for both established and emerging writers.

"Our Common History," a series of talks reflecting on Macon County's unique and important history, is slated for the fall season at the Tuskegee History Center. The series will begin with a talk on the history and development of the Tuskegee National Forest on Tuesday, September 9 at 4:00 p.m.
