As Socrates has taught us, philosophy is best done in conversation.
Sponsored by the Department of Philosophy, the Auburn University Philosophy Tutoring Program is run by philosophy majors and minors. The program enhances the experiences of students taking introductory courses in philosophy, improves their understanding of course materials and contributes to their success in those courses. Both introductory students and philosophy majors and minors greatly benefit from conversations about philosophy outside the classroom.
The program is free of charge and open to any student who is currently taking a philosophy course at Auburn. If you are interested in being tutored, please complete the application form and we will pair you with a tutor most suitable to your needs.
