Liberal Arts to offer new degrees and certificate

The College of Liberal Arts (CLA) will soon offer two new undergraduate degrees and a new undergraduate certificate. The Alabama Commission on Higher Education (ACHE) recently approved a bachelor of science in neuroscience and a bachelor of arts in law and justice. ACHE also approved CLA’s first undergraduate certificate, Leadership for a Global Society.

yn Stuart is an Atmore native who obtained her bachelor's degree in sociology from Auburn in 1977. She has been elected to Alabama Supreme Court three times and is currently Chief Justice.

Jolley has been awarded the Gerald and Emily Leischuck Endowed Presidential Awards for Excellence in Teaching for 2018. The award honors teaching excellence by Auburn University faculty who have demonstrated a commitment to student success through effective and innovative teaching, and through advising and mentoring inside and outside the classroom.
