Jennifer K. Canfield is a graduate of Troy University (BME and MS in Education) and Auburn University (Ph.D. in Choral Music Education). Her teaching experience spans over 17 years in teaching general music and choir to grades K-12, both in public and private schools. As an accomplished soprano soloist, she has performed oratorio and opera throughout the Southeast and in the United Kingdom. She is a published arranger/composer with Alfred Publishing. Dr. Canfield has recently retired from Huntingdon College, where she served as Department Chair, and the Director of Choral Activities and Music Education. Since her “retirement”, she is an adjunct professor at Auburn University, where she enjoys teaching elementary education majors how to incorporate music in their general classrooms and Music Appreciation for the general student population.
