Brittny Kempfer is in her second year as a Ph.D. candidate at Auburn University. She holds a Master's Degree in Choral Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Bachelor's in Choral/Instrumental/General Music Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. 

Brittny has been a choral educator for over 10 years in Wisconsin and Georgia. She has worked with various styles of music: gospel, rock, country, pop, jazz, musical theater, classical, and other traditional genres of choral music.

During Brittny's Master's program, she concentrated on CCM vocal pedagogy, completing her Master's Thesis titled "Contemporary Commercial Music Pedagogy: Selective Exercises for Developing Healthy Technique in Adolescent Singers." Her current research and writing continue to focus on diverse musical styles and genres within the secondary music curriculum.
