Senior Thesis Award

Senior Thesis Award is given to the student who submits the best senior thesis during the academic year Faculty teaching the senior thesis course, or observing the presentations from the courses, may submit nominations to the scholarship and awards committee. The award is not given at the Spring Banquet, but instead is bestowed at the time of graduation after the committee has been able to review top papers presented in the Spring semester as well as papers completed in the Fall sections of HIST 4950.

This award is given by the faculty to encourage strong research by majors and to recognize high achievement in the capstone course of the major.
