About Me
Cameron Lucas received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre design and tech from Auburn University. In Cameron’s role as stage operations coordinator he works alongside the technical director in the shop, where he helps to oversee production practicums, build sets for each production, and mentor theatre design and tech students. In addition to working in the shop, Lucas often helps students with lighting and acts as master electrician for various productions.
Lucas has spent the last several summers working as the master electrician at Peach State Summer Theatre in Valdosta, Georgia. At Peach State, Cameron’s production credits include Les Mis, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, and Nice Work If You Can Get It. He enjoys working for his alma mater and inspiring young technicians to do what they love.
