Adam Abraham is from New York City. He studied nineteenth-century British literature at the University of Oxford, where he completed his doctoral degree. From 2017 until 2019, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University. His new book, Plagiarizing the Victorian Novel: Imitation, Parody, Aftertext, was published in 2019 by Cambridge University Press.
