Beginning in Summer 2016, most students in the College of Liberal Arts will take LBAR 2010: Liberal Arts Careers Preparation in the sophomore year. This is a two credit hour class designed to get students started early planning for success after college graduation.
When should I take LBAR 2010?
The course has been designed to give students time to develop their academic and extra-curricular profiles further before graduation. You should plan to take the course in your sophomore year.
Who should take LBAR 2010?
All students in the College of Liberal Arts can take this course. It is required for most majors. Consult your advisor if you have questions about whether the course applies to you and when you should take it.
What section of LBAR 2010 should I take?
You can get credit for any section of the course, but the sections are divided up to group students in the same or similar majors into sections together. You can consult the chart below, and check the section indicator (LA1, SS1, CJ1, etc.) when you search for courses in Tiger-I.
