All students selected to compete will perform one original song for a live audience at the event, and judges will determine finalists for a second and final round. The winner of the event will perform a third and final song to close the event. The winner will receive $500 and the two finalists will receive $250 each. Hosts for the evening will be Professors of Practice Jilla Webb and Khari Allen Lee of the Auburn University Department of Music’s Commercial Music Program.
