Fieldwork Projects Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of ROMA XVII - Una Mostra d’arte, an exhibition showcasing the work of students from the School of Art & Art History at Auburn University who participated in the 2017 summer study abroad trip to Italy. This multimedia group exhibition will feature Katie Chatham, Grace Harkin, Garrett Johnson, Hannah Chambley and Morgan Beam. The trip was led by the program’s faculty director Professor Zdenko Krtić. ROMA XVII - Una Mostra d'arte will feature a selection of sketchbooks (documenting and capturing students’ personal encounters and experiences of the trip), drawings, paintings and photographs. Artworks in the show are inspired by Rome, The Eternal City. The exhibition will be on view from Wednesday, September 13 through Saturday, October 14. The opening reception will be held at Fieldwork Projects Gallery on Thursday, September 14 from 5:30-7pm. The exhibition and opening reception are free and open to the public.
